Well, today is the day I won't stop. Today is the day I HAVE to do all the things I put off doing in favour of doing something much more productive; like hibernating. I have always been a terrible procrastinator, always. I just seem to work better that way. Remember the Canadian children's show "The Big Comfy COuch"? Loonette and Molly did the "10 second tidy" at the end of the show? That would be me all over. Always have, probably always will. If there is no deadline? Meh. Mustn't be that important then. Oh I am a planner (another p word), I make lists like a champ. Figure out the best course of action, how long it is going to take to accomplish, but then the time schedules go out the window in favour of the "whirling dervish" approach. And it is a sight to behold. Get the hell outta my way, I am coming through! I am just one of those people. Remember back in elementary school when we had to do speeches, and say them in front of the class? I did TERRIBLY in that class when marked on form because they tried to get us to do it step by step. Day 1, come up with a theme or topic. Dav 2) Do a rough outline of the points you want to make. Fay 3) Flesh out the points into sentences and thoughts,. Day 4) Edit for time and phrasing. Day 5) Present to the class. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... I'd go home and whip the whole thing out in a night...the last night of course. I'd read it to myself once in my room, timing it, (the best public speaking voice is 150 w.p.m-just a piece of useless trivia for you.) and adding to it or culling as needed to hit my mark of 5 minutes, present it on the last day, and win the class. So many teachers would go over my speech, hear me present it, and not be able to find anything wrong with it, but have to give me low marks because of the lack of "showing my work." That happened, year after year, until high school, when the clued in to just let me do it my own way, cause the end result was better than the others. (Except for 2 years, DAMN YOU LISA CARROL!) That's just how I roll, baby. Final year College theses...conduct 2 phone interviews, Slam it out in a night, spend another day finding quality paper and a fancy duo-tang to present it in, BAM; A-.
So, as I was, ever shall I be.
The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy. Dad has his surgery tomorrow, 5-10 days in the hospital, depending on how he does, I am staying at Mom and Dad's house 2 minutes from the hospital during the week to spot my Mom at the hospital so she doesn't get exhausted, because she WILL, and then to help her at home with his aftercare, cause at 74, she just can't help him physically like she used to. My brother and sister work, my brother lives in the same city, my sister further away, so hopefully my brother can take over after work, and my sister can do weekends. Bridget is home for a while to help me out with this, and for that I am thankful..I would have been stuck otherwise. SO, hence this being the day to cleanoutthefridgewashallthebeddinggroceryshopforeasymealssoallthelaundryfolditandputitawaypreparesom

Oh, and dye my hair.
This is if everything goes well, and according to plan. If everything goes for the shitter, then that's a whole new game pan. One I do NOT want to think about today.
So, if you could spare my Dad, Tom Kelly, of Kitchener, Ontario, a moments thought tomorrow, around 830am, please, just wish him the best, whatever happens, Oh, and maybe wishing the surgeon get laid the night before probably wouldn't hurt either.
I gotta go, stuff ain't gonna get done with mr just typing here!
Thanks.
